Professional Agenda
One of the greatest lessons learned throughout my matriculation I have learned two major lessons, one that failure is not the end of the road but only a mere setback, and not learning from past mistake is only a setup for failure once more. By learning from mistakes and taking it as guidance there is no other end result on my horizon than success.
On December 8, 2012 I will begin a new journey full of the knowledge that I have been taught and begin to apply it. I plan on entering my career in higher education administration while obtaining my masters in Student Affairs at the University of West Georgia. Upon completion of my master’s program it is my desire to move vertically through the housing sector at an institution of higher learning, and ultimately receive my doctorate from a prestigious university, and eventually become a President of a University.
I have had the most enjoyable experience working in this field, college is the time in life where a person grows and develop into who they will very-well be for the remainder of their lives and by implementing policies that will deter negative behaviors, it is my belief that the student affairs sector changes someone’s whole outlook. My goal may seem lofty at this time but I feel that all the small accomplishment is what is worth celebrating along the way.
